Pharma Biotech Consultants was founded in 2001 by Dr. Shyam S. Mohapatra, an internationally recognized scientist, inventor, and leader in pharmaceutical innovation. Dr. Mohapatra established Pharma Biotech Consultants to provide high-level guidance in drug development, translational research, nanomedicine, and technology commercialization. With a career spanning more than four decades in biotechnology, genetics, immunology, and nanotechnology, he brings a unique mix of scientific depth and industry-oriented leadership that has shaped the firm’s approach and values.

About Our Founder — Dr. Shyam S. Mohapatra:

Dr. Shyam Mohapatra is a Distinguished Health Professor, Associate Dean, and Director of the Center for Research & Education in Nanobioengineering at the University of South Florida (USF). He is widely recognized for his pioneering work in nanomedicine — including nanoscale therapeutics, molecular diagnostics, gene therapy platforms, drug-delivery technologies, and innovative treatments for cancer, asthma, viral infections, traumatic brain injury, and other complex diseases.
